Opened in 2006, the official Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart houses more than 125 years of automobile history under one roof. With more than 160 automobiles and other rotating displays you will be sure to see something that interests everyone. From the history buff to the race car driver, no one will be disappointed. The museum is open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 9:00 to 6:00 and the last tickets are sold at 5:00. Entrance is 8 Euro for adults and 4 Euro for children from 15-17. Children 15 and under are free. Just keep the finger prints off the paint!

  1. Great list! We just got here 2.5 months ago and have already been to two of the places you mentioned. Rothenburg was fantastic. The Christmas Market was perfect and not too crowded. It’s perfect for people who prefer a more intimate environment. Many people spoke English so it was an easy place to visit when you’re just getting your bearings. We had a wonderful time walking around the city wall and exploring the shops. Rick Steves loves Rothenburg for shopping so if you’re a Rick Steves travel fan, you’ll be happy to see where he recommends!
