Oberstdorf
We are coming back to Germany for the number three pick. you may or may not have heard of Oberstdorf but you will certainly love it. Located in South-West Bavaria, Oberstdorf is one of the most popular ski destinations in Germany. It may not have the flair of some of the bigger Austrian or Swiss resorts but it has plenty of great skiing and wonderful views to match. Oberstdorf is a smaller village that offers a quality family vacation without the hustle and bustle. Rooms can be had for very good rates like 20-25 EUR per night and there are plenty of good little restaurants around town. Ski pass prices are still up in the forties but you won’t be crowded on the pistes.
