Lake Konigsee
When visiting Lake Konigsee make sure to take the boat out to Salet. I went during the summer, but it would be even prettier in the fall when the leaves are changing colors. From Salet you get the opportunity to do an hour hike to a stunning waterfall. When you first get off of the boat you head past the cozy restaurant that offers cappuccinos, pastries, & soups and it will lead you to a pasture of cows wearing giant bells. Here you can pet them and take photos. You can also get fresh cheese and butter bread from the stand here that is to die for. A little further along the way you get to see the waterfall crashing down in the background as the mountains cast a reflection on the shimmering lake. Any time of year Lake Konigsee will be a jaw dropper, but I can only imagine how stunning it is in autumn.
