Linderhof
Of course Ludwig would have more than one palace on this list. The man knew baroque architecture & he knew what he wanted. He lived like a king and it shows in his palace, the Linderhof. Even his bedroom is more extravagant than the one that Ludwig had at Neuschwantstein. The Linderhof bed is truly fit for a king. In addition, the outside of the palace is a wonderful work of art as well. The waterworks are the largest attraction at the palace. You can view the fountain from a variety of angles in which it goes shooting off like a bursting firework in front of the palace. Once you see it for yourself, you will understand why the Linderhof Palace lives up to the hype.
