2. Sölden Ski Area, runs open as early as September 17, 2016! 1,350 – 3,340 meters elevation and 146 km of pistes that include 2 glacier areas. It’s a well-varied resort as far as difficulty goes with a majority of runs being blue. There is no shortage of a good time to be had here, either. après ski, parties, and lively events throughout the season. The parties with live DJs and drink specials begin on November 26 and continue weekly. There are often major events such as live concerts and competitions, and this year the season will be kicked off with the Alpine Ski World Cup; the theme being, “Ladies First”.
