One of the most time-consuming things while planning a trip is deciding what to do once you’ve reached your destination. For us, the answer is simple! Viator.com Viator makes the details of traveling much easier and a lot less stressful. Just like their website says, “Skip the driving, the maps and the guesswork!” What could be easier?!

A few weeks after moving to Germany and getting settled, we were anxious to start traveling. I stumbled upon Viator while trying to find a tour company for our first big trip to London. Viator happened to be the first site that came up in english and I really liked what they had to offer. If you’re like me and speak little to no German, trip planning can become very overwhelming while stationed here. With that being said, Viator can be a little on the expensive side at times but after booking multiple trips with them, every penny that we’ve spent has been worth it! We have been able to do and see so much thanks to them.

All About Viator

Viator is a global business that seeks local tour companies to partner with while offering the traveler the best experience possible for one set price. All tours are hand-picked by experts and natives to the specific area. They are verified by reviews and pictures and all their tours come with special access to main attractions and most of them skip the lines! If you’re like us, that is always a plus when you are trying to see as much as you can in a three or four day weekend. The website is easy to navigate. You simply type in the country and city you’re traveling to and it will pull up all the available tours, with days and times. The website has thrill tours, day tours, walking tours, food tours, bike tours and overnight/multi-day tours. Basically, any kind of tour your heart desires.

Viator tours are one set price and there are no hidden fees. The only exception is tips if your tour guide was up to par! On all of our day tours thus far, lunch has been included and usually always happens to be a local favorite wherever we are! If that wasn’t enough, there’s more! The customer service is amazing! Not only are they available 24/7, but they’ve got the nicest agents working for them answering any and all questions you may have before your tour begins.

Over the last two years, we have been able to travel to many places. From exploring Ireland to a tapas experience in Barcelona, to wine tasting in Porto and a sled ride with reindeer while searching for the Northern Lights in Finland. Viator has taken the stress out of seeing and exploring Europe!

A Tour You Cannot Miss

cliffsNow let me share with you one of our favorite and most memorable tours. Cliff of Moher, a day trip from Dublin. Find it here.  This day tour says it simply takes you to the Cliffs of Moher and the Irish countryside. Great, that’s what we want to see! When we went to Ireland we decided to spend our nights in Dublin and use it as our base, so this tour fit us perfectly. They picked us up at the crack of dawn in Central Dublin. Once the group of about 20 people checked in, we took off. Our tour guide told us a little about himself, told us how our day would go and then started right in with the Irish history, stories and jokes and even some Irish music to set the scene. It was fantastic! After visiting the Cliffs, he took us to the little town of Doolin. Had it not been for him taking us to a restaurant off the beaten path, we wouldn’t have had the best Irish meal of our lives! As it states, the food was on our own dime, but it didn’t matter because the food was unforgettable! After lunch we started to make our way home, but not on the path we came. He took us on a coastal road for about half of our trip back to Dublin. Can you imagine the sights while listening to Irish music play in the background? Truly an unforgettable day!

So if this isn’t enough to help you decide which company to book your tours through, you can go to the website and read all the positive reviews for yourself!
