Straight from the words of Wikipedia: Kaiserschmarren is a light, caramelized pancake made from a sweet batter using flour,eggs, sugar, salt, and milk, baked in butter. Most commonly served with caramelized raisins, nuts, cherries, or plums. The pancake is split while frying and served covered in powdered sugar with an apple or plum sauce.
